Beaumaris – Ricketts Point to Mentone Beach – Bay Trail

Hi Everyone,
Let’s get started for 2022 with one of our most popular walks – the Bay Trail from Beaumaris to Mentone Beach.
As usual, we’ll meet at the car park next to the Beaumaris Life Savings Club at Ricketts Point and walk as a group to Mentone Beach and return. Then coffee at the beachside cafe at Ricketts Point.
When: Sunday 20th February 2022 at 9:00am
Where: Start point: in the car park at B18, Ricketts Point on Beach Road. Park at southern end, next to Beaumaris Life Savings Club.
Need a lift? Meet at Cnr, Riversdale & Glenferrie Roads Hawthorn at 8:45am. (Please make sure that you let Graham know if you do require transport)
Reward: Fun Friendship Fitness, and a chat with newfound friends.
Fitness level: Overall, walk is rated as “Easy”
Distance: Total walking time approximately 2 hours and it’ll be just under 7 kilometers. If we linger at the rock pools, which is likely as it’s a real feature, we’ll take a little longer.
Coffee: Ricketts Point Tea House on our return.
